Tim Danahey for Parker Town Council
Finally, a councilman for all the voices of Parker
My name is Tim Danahey and I am running for Parker Town Council. The Town of Parker will benefit from my experience as a financial analyst, management consultant at Price Waterhouse, and, for the past twenty five years, a small business owner. I bring skills in capital and operating budgets, plans, project evaluation, communication, and the ability to understand the opportunities and challenges facing Parker businesses. Currently in my second term on the Town of Parker Planning Commission, I've been working to protect neighborhoods and cultivate sensible growth.
As a husband, father of two children, and owner of three dogs, I easily relate to the hopes and struggles of all homeowners, neighborhoods, and the community as we try to create the Town we want Parker to be.
I encourage you to use this site to find out more about my candidacy:
On the Issues
-
Stronger Relationships with Neighborhoods
Neighborhood and government communications are essential to wise growth and a strong community. Ideas need to be developed to solve budget, code enforcement, recycling, beautification, transportation, and quality of life issues. Parker is one town of many great neighborhoods that need to work together to achieve its goals while sustaining its identity.
-
Small Businesses and Economic Growth
This needs to be a town where people live and work. 55% of us leave town every day to go to our jobs. We need a vibrant day and evening economy fueled by solid local companies that value our educated and experienced population and provide flexible employment opportunities in the years to come.
-
Future Development That Benefits All Citizens of Parker
We must be assured that all new developments provide all Parker residents access to the open spaces such as those adjoining the Reuter-Hess Reservoir, that traffic to commercial developments be conducive to healthy neighborhoods, that Parker businesses are allowed and encouraged to participate fully in bidding for every project, and make it known that our quality of life is a critical component when considering every developers proposals.
